So another classic Toads night, my man Fabolous came thru yesterday(thursday march 5th). The night was cool a few opening acts came out, which were pretty cool. I was with my man Nitty who kept doing Oj the Juiceman ad libs all night, lol he sound just like him. Fabolous came in around 12:30am. Now in Connecticut on a thursday, thats pretty late. Clubs close at 1am and the crowd was waiting forever for him. My man DJ Bigmann from HOT 93.7 was on the turntables. So Fab finally came, and of course irunthroughbabymommas.blogspot.com was on stage to get some footstage. Fabolous performed about 4 tracks and just verses. One track that was crazy though he did flip Red Cafe single "im the hottest nigga in the hood" freestyle it was crazy but fabolous pretty much was on stage for about 15 minutes not even. I was shocked because people would pay about 45.00$ just to see a classic performance and Fab really didnt do this. I was alittle dissapointed because me being an A&R ima fan first. I love fabolous tracks. Lets see he performed "she got her own-Jamie Foxx(verse), Breathe, Lil wayne track that he did, and the hottest nigga in the hood freestyle. Thats not worth 45.00. I was alittle upset him being a big time artist. He left kinda awkard also. Now i probably would go to see fabolous again but damn i dont think many Connecticut fans will though. It just wasnt a good look. Paul Cain was the hype man for the night, he was cool. Hope Fabolous knows about this though because it just isnt fair, it may be a regular low show for him but in fans eyes they plan for a whole week for his show. I think ima pitch this to Nahright.com & onsmash etc. I think fab should realize every show should be worth peoples money's worth.
PS: The highlight of the night though, was his kicks, have no idea what they were but they was heavy gold, they was piffery though.
"im the hottest n*gga in the hood"-Freestyle

ReplyDeleteI saw him before here in CT and maybe thats just how his shows go bc the show I saw was pretty much the same....only a verse from a few songs n that was it....I like Fab but yea I won't ever pay to see him again
